Country Feeds, a subsidiary unit under Silo Food Industries (SFI) is looking for a suitable and experienced manager who has worked in the agro-processing sector to fill the above-mentioned position on fixed term contract.

Job Purpose
To oversee Stockfeeds Production facilities; ensure quality and consistency of finished products; and initiate and manage expansion and greenfield projects.

Key Responsibilities
> Plans and schedules work for the department.
> Co-ordinates resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs.
> Oversees stockfeeds production, inbound logistics, engineering maintenance and projects management.
> Ensures the department is adequately resourced with relevant skills and competencies
> Ensures compliance with all SHEQ policies, laws and regulations.

Qualifications and experience
> A degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant field.
> At least five years' hands on experience in process production, engineering maintenance and project management.
> Direct experience in stockfeeds processing will be added advantage.

> 30 - 45 years
