The world over consumers are becoming more health conscious hence increase in demand of healthy foods or diets including high quality protein sources such as poultry. Organically produced free range poultry products are increasingly wanted on the local and international markets as more people are becoming concerned wth animal welfare and healthy issues hence it’s an opportunity for Zimbabwe as we have all it takes to produce certified organic free range poultry .

Free ranging poultry alone doesn’t translate them to be organic but your whole production system has to be organic and then need to be certified if your products are going to fetch a premium price on the market.
